This month we are focusing on our hips and giving them some lovin’!
A lot of the time we focus on stretching and opening the hips, this is due to many of us having tight hips. There are so many muscles around the hip, making it a massive joint. All these muscles surrounding the joint also mean there are so many areas of tightness and stiffness.
Because we focus so much on opening our hips, we often avoid strengthening the hip. We need to have both strength and flexibility in our joints to keep them strong, finding balance in our bones!! Focusing on engagement through our hips, finding strength and balance.
This months practice will be deep work through the hips, working on the tiny muscles that we don’t usually think about!
